The Brimfield Antiques Show began in the 1950’s and has become the largest and best-known outdoor antiques show in the country. Running for a distance of about a half-mile and at least 500′ deep on each side of the highway, the Brimfield Show is filled with thousands of dealers over the course of the week; selling everything from the finest antiques to ‘junk’. To see everything requires at least one day, maybe two.
AT-95 is constantly on the hunt for objects of inspiration – so naturally, Brimfield is a ‘must-go’ event in our opinion. Along with many others, we went, we saw and we found some fantastic objects (some of which we plucked up to bring home with us). This post highlights our favorite finds from this legendary event.
Property of the US Government Emergency Drinking Water
Tub Ottomans – Ingenious use of galvanized tubs combined with a linen tufted top
Vintage jewelry cleaning cages used as votive candle holders
Very large and attractive NY industrial base with maple top
These are some of the largest and most beautiful
industrial lights we have ever seen
