The Bourbon Inspiration

Our two finishes are a celebration of the bourbon whiskey making process. Bourbon whiskey is the quintessential American drink, and is always placed in the quintessential American hardwood – White Oak (Quercas Alba).

Lightly Toasted.

The White Oak used in a barrel is of the highest quality, with a trunk diameter usually exceeding five feet. The coopers hand fit each piece of White Oak (a stave) to make a barrel. The Lightly Toasted finish recalls the beauty of the finished White Oak barrel.

Bourbon.

Did you know all of the color and taste of bourbon whiskey comes from the White Oak? Before the spirit is put in the barrel it is completely clear; like water. The oak and whiskey interact with each other to produce the great American spirit. The Bourbon finish evokes the rich caramel color of bourbon whiskey.
